Shri Bhuvaneshwari Mahila Ashram (SBMA) was founded in 1977 by the late Dr. Swami Manmanthan, a human rights activist from Kerala who was passionately committed to empowering the rural communities of Uttarakhand. SBMA is focused on the development and wellbeing of women and children and serves more than 2000 villages in Uttarakhand through various programs, including: Health, Education, Livelihoods, Research and Advocacy, Disaster Mitigation, and Natural Resource Management.
SBMA has supported APV School since its inception by providing building and land space on the Anjanisain campus.
