The American India Foundation (AIF) is based in the United States and is the largest diaspora philantrophy organization focused on India. AIF was born out of relief efforts following the Gujarat earthquake of 2001 and since then has partnered with over 115 NGOs in India to focus on development within the three pillar areas of Education, Livelihoods, and Public Health.
The Clinton Fellowship for Service is one of AIF’s signature programs and provides a select group of young American professionals the opportunity to serve with Indian NGOs for a ten-month period. Since 2003, there have been 8 AIF Clinton Fellows at APV School.
