After the Floods: Resilience and Refocus

Spread the love
Greetings from APV School!
Many exciting things have happened over the past 6 months. New relationships have been formed, work on our innovative “Link Syllabus” has advanced, and we located land for a potential new school.
While we’ve made a lot of positive progress, we’ve also suffered the effects of the most devastating monsoon rains in over 50 years. The foundation and supporting walls of our school building were severely damaged. This winter we will begin making the necessary repairs.

We ask you to kindly consider making a donation to help cover the costs of reconstruction and ensure the safety of our students and teachers. Please visit the Himalayan Progressive Education Fund to learn more about how you can assist. Not only will your contribution help make necessary structural repairs to the school building, your gift will allow us to continue the important work of developing and delivering engaging and relevant curriculum to an ethnically and socio-economically diverse group of Himalayan youth. Your generosity will help to expand our ability to train teachers and deliver our learning to educators around the state of Uttarakhand.
With gratitude,
The APV Community
