Gargi College Students Visit APV

GargiAPVAs the 6th generation of AIF Clinton Fellows to serve at APV School, it is in honor and a privilege to continue the work of expanding holistic education.
This past month I had the opportunity to observe first-hand the incredible potential of APV School to be a national leader in Teacher Trainings and Education Reform.
25 Elementary Ed. 3rd year students from Gargi College in Delhi came to APV School for a 4-day “exposure” visit and training. The Gargi students participated in morning assembly/meditation, observed APV’s alternative teaching methods in the classroom, had dialogues with APV teachers about their experiences, interacted with students, and conducted a lesson with each grade.
In a feedback activity one Gargi student wrote: “My experience at APV was amazing. I never thought that such a school could exist. This school lives up to its slogan—“Knowledge is that which liberates.” This experience gave answers to the questions we have been asking since our first year in El.Ed.”
